Evidence-Based Practice
Prioritizing scientific rigor and clinical evidence in protocols and guidelines for safe and effective interventions.
Founded in 2025 by a coalition of physiotherapists and medical experts, NCPA was established to formalize and elevate the emerging field of cosmetic physiotherapy. Our mission is to advance interdisciplinary education, clinical excellence, and research in aesthetic-oriented physiotherapy. We believe physical and psychological well-being are closely linked, and that restoring a patient’s health must also consider aesthetic appearance. By bridging physiotherapy with cosmetic science, we aim to enhance both functional recovery and patients’ self-perception in their rehabilitation journey. To be the premier global authority in cosmetic physiotherapy. We strive for a future where physiotherapy practitioners are integral contributors to aesthetic medicine teams, and where patients everywhere have access to safe, effective cosmetic rehabilitation services. NCPA envisions a world in which rehabilitative and aesthetic treatments are combined to optimize quality of life – where improving posture, skin health, muscle tone, and scar outcomes goes hand in hand with enhancing confidence and wellness. We aim to continually shape the recognition of cosmetic physiotherapy as an essential subspecialty, through advocacy, standard-setting, and demonstrating outcomes that matter both functionally and aesthetically.
Our association is guided by an experienced leadership team and advisory board. The NCPA is led by a President and Board of Directors composed of senior physiotherapists, academic researchers, and industry experts in rehabilitation and aesthetic medicine. This leadership team steers NCPA’s strategic vision, oversees the development of educational programs and clinical guidelines, and ensures that our mission and values are upheld. Under their guidance, NCPA has grown into a trusted authority setting professional standards in cosmetic physiotherapy. The leadership also collaborates with international experts and partner institutions to keep our practices aligned with global best practices.
